PD and I were talking about some of the class room decorations they’ve been working on for their parents day. We were doing a search for some ideas and we ran across the fact that April is Autism Awareness Month…
So bought this awesome shirt for him and the teacher in his class has requested one.

He wrote a poem for the class bulletin board for parents night… hope he doesn’t mind my posing it. you don’t, do ya honey? I’ll need to wait for final wording … *hint*

Last week, Miss Libby only had a couple of accidents in her pullup, of course only at home. So her daycare care givers asked if we wanted to start sending her in panties. Of course PD and I had been talking about this for a couple of weeks now and we were all for it. Over the weekend we bought her Dora panties and Curious George panties… to add to her collection of Princesses and Elmo. She’s so excited. “Pretty Dora panties!” Monday and Yesterday, she went the whole day with no accidents. I think she even kept the dry pull up during nap. yay for my big girl! The only accidents I’ve noticed have been when I’m home alone with the kiddos and I’m feeding Evelyn and can not help her when the timing is urgent. I’m so proud of her doing so well… and so grateful for this wonderful daycare for sticking with it. We’ve had trouble in the past with daycares being inconstant causing lots of regression with Samuel. Of course all kiddos are different and it’s going to happen eventually. You either start early or wait for them to be ready, either way… it gets done.

We had a pretty good scare. The wind was blowing through like a train, and the hail was hitting the room so very hard.
PD had me get the kids in the hall bathroom while he checked out the weather from the back door.
Only a little damage to his truck, nothing worth bothering about.
I’m glad nothing serious came of it, and the kids were glad to go back to bed.

Have I mentioned how much I love my new kitchen?
So what do we think?
Thanks for the idea Beth, I’m really happy with how these turned out.

Taking orders…
I was so worried about how this would turn out. They took this the day after the major hair cut. I’m very pleased.

Libby has been on a dress kick lately. Insisting on them to wear for play and sleep.
I nipped the sleep one in the bud quickly by buying a dora nightgown.
I had to convince the girl it was a dress…
I’ve been finding a lot of cute little dresses on ebay. Today, an ebayer brightened my day.
Sitting at my desk, busy in my work and these came. I couldn’t help but smile!

Sam’s school had their, oh so cute, kindergarten program last night.
A few things I’ve learned I need for next time…
- tell family earlier than four hours before
- get there 15 minutes earlier than they tell the parents to have the kids there.
- baby sling
- camera tripod
- get my son to carry a handkerchief (an every day thing)
